Crete
I
come from Crete, and my heavily biased view is that it
is one of the prettiest, most interesting and worth
visiting parts of the world! Here are a couple of links
to whet your appetite:

|
Crete
- Suprisingly Yours is a website on cretan
history, culture, and nature, which also provides
a lot of useful information, such as accommodation
options, for potential visitors. It even contains
Cretan recipes! The website is maintained by the
regional administration. |

|
Cretazine
is a real-time guide for those living in Crete,
but also for visitors. In it, you will find lots
of articles on interesting and sometimes
surprising aspects of life on the island, some
history, and a well-informed agenda of all the
goings-on. Check out all the beaches too!

Singing

|
I
am a member of Songworks,
a community choir based in Morningside, Edinburgh.
We meet weekly and sing songs from all over the
world in a friendly, laid-back atmosphere. |

|
During
my stay in Providence in 2014-2015, I joined the Rhode
Island Civic Chorale and Orchestra, and I
had the chance to brush up on solfège and some
serious classical music!
